ENTERTAINING ELEGANCE AT NOBU

NOBU at One & Only Cape Town is delighted to announce their programme for events in 2013. Named ‘Entertaining Elegance at Nobu’ the highly trained team of chefs have masterminded a programme of dinners featuring some of the finest beverages in the world, all of them perfectly matched to Nobu’s unique cuisine. The team at Nobu, consisting of Head Chef Fred Fred Faucheux, recently appointed Sushi Chef Keisuke “Keke” Itoh and General Manager, Amir Sardari, will lead guests on an exciting culinary journey to experience new flavours and combinations.


Dining at Nobu is unlike other restaurants, with its unique fusion of Japanese and South American (principally Peruvian) cuisine, its openhearted emphasis on family dining and carefully-trained staff who lead you through a series of taste sensations. This is a winter programme of surprises and unmissable delights and guests are urged to reserve their places quickly. On the 11th September, two of Scotland’s finest single malt whiskies will be bringing their range of different spirits to the table. Last year, the Glenmorangie dinner was the highlight of the series and it is expected that its return, now partnered with Ardbeg, will be another sell-out success.


The Entertaining Elegance at Nobu evenings are priced at R495.00 per person with the exception of the last date in the series – the Dom Perignon dinner on 2nd October, which is priced at R995.00 per person. This prestige cuvée is only made in the very best of vintages and is the epitome of elegance, style and sophistication. Nobu chefs have carefully paired dishes using luxury ingredients as befits the calibre of the Champagne to produce a once-in-a-lifetime occasion.
