After successfully running eleven industry-specific courses in different trades, CII Chhindwara Skill Training Centre has launched its 12th Course for two-wheeler repair and maintenance with Hero MotoCorp.

This course aims at an intensive training for the rural youth in two-wheeler maintenance and repair, where on completion of this residential course the student will be ready to be employed in the set skills.

The objective of this center is to create a talent pool of trained workforce for industry and enable access for the urban poor to employment opportunities.

Skills and knowledge are the driving forces of economic growth and social development of an area and the country as a whole.  The economy becomes more productive, innovative and competitive through the existence of more skilled human potential.  Increasing pace of technology provide both challenges and growth opportunities for economic expansion and job creation.  To take advantage of such opportunities, CII has set up the Skills Centre with strong industry participation in Chhindwara (Madhya Pradesh). The CII Skills initiative in Chhindwara is ‘one-of-its-kind’, conceptualized and driven by industry, and aimed at creating a talent pool of trained workmen for industry

The Centre aims at imparting employment oriented vocational training, especially to those hailing from marginalized sections & economically weaker category youths in and around the district of Chhindwara.
