Students from across India who participated in the 5th phase of the Yuva Sangam
cultural exchange program, a key initiative under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha
Bharat campaign, gathered to work towards the unity and nation-building
vision of the Prime Minister. Aligning with the Prime Minister's vision of Ek
Bharat Shreshta Bharat, IIM Mumbai and IIT Bhubaneshwar symbiotically organized
academic cum cultural exchange programmes. Youths (18-30 years) from both
states participated in various events.
Yuva
Sangam aims to deepen mutual respect and understanding, strengthening the bonds
between the people of Maharashtra and Odisha. By fostering an appreciation for
India’s extraordinary diversity, the program echoes the vision of Ek Bharat
Shreshtha Bharat—promoting unity and national integration through cultural
awareness. The program provided a unique opportunity for participants to
explore Maharashtra’s rich cultural heritage, including its iconic landmarks,
vibrant traditions, and authentic cuisines. The week-long itinerary featured
engaging cultural workshops, learning sessions, and visits to Mumbai’s historic
and modern landmarks.
The
5th phase of the Yuva Sangam cultural exchange program concluded yesterday

a deeper understanding of our diverse traditions and creates lasting connections.
In the long run, such experiences will empower students to become ambassadors
of unity and cultural integration. It’s heartening to witness how these
interactions will shape the leaders of tomorrow, bringing our country closer
together.”
Prof.
Manoj Tiwari, Director of IIM Mumbai, shared his message emphasizing the
importance of cultural exchanges: “Our students are the leaders of tomorrow.
We are fortunate to witness these vibrant cultural activities that foster unity

empowerment, leadership, and social responsibility. Programs like Ek Bharat
Shreshtha Bharat play a crucial role in bridging gaps between states and
nurturing national integration.”
