Will urge Haryanvi youth to cast vote, to push for electoral awareness

This is why the state of Haryana has chosen him to be Icon of Youth to build awareness around elections amongst the young. Haryana faces a perceptible gap in the Elector Population Ratio in terms of youth participation, which lags behind at 58.95 and is proportionately low. The state also faces a negative gender ration of 863 when it comes to voting. To address this gap amongst the youth and to spread awareness around the value of casting your vote, Ayushmann has been chosen as the State Icon.
