Diageo welcomes Shri Siddaramaiah, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka to open its new Business Service Centre in Bengaluru

Diageo, a global leader in beverage alcohol, today officially opened its latest business service centre, Diageo Enterprise Operations – Bengaluru (formerly known as Diageo Business Services – India).  The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shri Siddaramaiah inaugurated along with Ivan Menezes, Chief Executive Diageo, Brian Franz, Chief Productivity Officer Diageo, Ulrica Fearn, General Manager Enterprise Operations and Anand Kripalu, Managing Director & CEO, United Spirits Limited (USL).

Diageo continues to be committed to India and Karnataka through its investment in the state. The setting up of Diageo’s newest global shared services centre in Bengaluru is a reflection of its confidence in the progressive leadership of the Hon’ble Chief Minister and his Government. 

Following a successful start to its operations in October 2016, Diageo’s shared service centre in Bengaluru, situated at the Karle Town Special Economic Zone (SEZ) near the Nagavara Lake, has already trebled its workforce to 300 with the expectation that this number will double by the end of the calendar year.

Soon Diageo Enterprise Operations will be offering new services in the technical IT area, data, analytics and technology as well as establishing a robotics centre of excellence. Diageo’s in-house centre is offering world-class business services and an open, exciting and dynamic culture. It has already created a vibrant and diverse environment living up to its promise of offering exciting career opportunities for those who wish to make a difference for themselves, the organisation and the local community.
